JOHANNESBURG – As South Africa marks Women’s Day, we remember the women who have become victims of gender-based violence.

One of them is Marishka Davids who was doused with petrol and set alight by her partner.
Her friend Zakkiyah Rayman was also killed in the incident.
On Friday, her mother Mandy Davids launched a non-profit to help victims of GBV.
